I Believe Family Is Very Important

Returned home at 10 minutes past 10pm today.. Was doing overtime again; could use the extra money and needed to keep busy.
..
Usually, everytime i park my car, he would come and greet me by the glass sliding door; waving excitedly, and when he didn't tonight, i thought he was fast asleep. It turned out he was still awake, but busy watching his videos.
I slided the door slowly as not to startle him, locked it behind my back, when he realized i was there, standing.
..My precious angel...
He came running and hugged me the tighest he could and for a longgg time; as if trying to say how much he missed me today. He didn't wanna let go and asked me to carry him upstairs.

Then only it hit me; how i initially wished that he'd be sleeping by the time i came home because i was tired from work work work.. But there he was, just being himself, missing me dearly.
How selfish of me.

I saw that he was sleepy; tired too, from the waiting, but he kept awake to wait for me to put him to bed.
..I'm sorry baby..

He's sleeping now, and so should i.
12 midnight and it's THE day.
