I Would Love To Live On My Own Private Island

If you really want to live on a tropical island that’s control entirely by yourself, then yes, it is possible – in the virtual multi-user metaverse of Second Life.

We have been living on our own island for a long time and all the visitors who come to the island have to follow our rules.

Yes and island would be grand but you can do the same on a sailboat ,,,, and see many more islands ,,,

@olderCanuck You can rent one or buy one. There's hundreds of models to choose from. You can hire a slip or moor it by your own private landing.

The yachts handle like real ones and there's even an SL wind, so you get weather effects.

Some of the harbours and marinas are full of boats. And you can sign up for free sailing lessons. There's even regular "Topless Cruises" that always end in a big party.

Our old tiki home had its own jetty where we moored our boat.
