Worse is deep fry oil in restaurants cause they keep reusing it. I throw mine away after one use because it causes free-radical damage to the DNA after it is reheated and used even one time, worse the more it is reused.

@cherokeepatti Same, when I did have one, it really is ruined after one use

@SW-User I started baking my French fries after coating them in olive oil. They are really good that way if you don’t mind heating up the kitchen with an oven. I can make wedge fries baked in the convection cooker bowl, it’s kind of like an air fryer that way.

@cherokeepatti I bake too, it's do much better, cleaner, I'd rather clean my oven than have to dispose of horrible oil🛢️😱

😂 Open all the windows and doors while you fry.

@SW-User Getting some much needed fresh air now, haha ... to be clear i wasn't the brilliant chef here, i just live here and have to smell what goes on!

@SW-User I tend to not fry much, when I do on the rare occasion, I open everything around me. And lol, sorry you've to endure that.

I deep fry everything in detached garage.

@LunarOrbit I have one of those little portable induction cooktop cookers and I think I need to take it to the sun room and use it next time I fry anything. At least the air can circulate to fresh air out there.

@cherokeepatti Great idea.
I was thinking of getting an induction cooktop as well.

Use an outdoor deep fryer.
SW-User
Yeah I never fry anything. You can just sear stuff or bake or grill it and it’s just as good

Maybe it was rancid. The clearer the oil the better. It shouldn’t have much of a smell.
SW-User
Is why I don't own one

@SW-User This was done in a pot, oil that was boiled, with little meat pastry things cooking. 🤮
