I Am a Christian and I Love Jesus

I have been struggling over the last few weeks discerning the differences between romantic love and brotherly love. All my life I was romantic by nature. And God kept on inspiring movies about my life that were romantic with other men other than my own husband! Long story short I've decided to love all people, men women and children, husbands and wives in such a way that if it were to come to light for all to see that my love would be acceptable to everybody. That means only being romantic with my husband. I thought that I couldn't tame this heart of mine, I thought that I was sacrificing my own happiness for the thrill of the romantic gaze, or to hug a little longer as if to be held, but I want to focus that kind of love onto my husband. And love people deeply in purity like Jesus would.

The BEST way is to continously pray and ask God to keep your mind and heart away from thoughts, and even actions, that can be misinterpreted or misunderstood. Stay in the word and dont allow the temptations that may come to distract you. Christ calls us to love others, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. Stay focused on your husband and family and center everything in your marriage around the love that God has called marriage to truly be.

Phileo and Agape love . There's difference between the two .
Romantic love can and most often develop into physical relations, brotherly love is something that is a Connection that you can connect without words, despite that, you all have a common goal!
