I'm sure that stung a bit. That reminds me of a guy I met in art school. A crowd of us were walking down Longwood Avenue to the old building for our next class, and the guy, who was short and slender, said to me, "You will never be petite." However, he did look up at me admiringly when he said it. Still...tact is not the strong suit for some men.

If you want to make your brother's friend regret his casual cruelty, stop eating all wheat products, and you will drop about 15 pounds in 2 weeks.

I swear that some people have so much fat on the mind that it oozes out of their mouths. It's all they seem to see in people. They don't see a person, they just see fat. I personally know a lot of fat obsessed people and listen to this every week. If they visit someone they haven't seen in a while and you ask them how so and so is doing, the first thing you will hear is, 'She/He has put on an awful lot of weight.' And they say it as if it's the end of the world.

My first response to him would be "sorry about your brain tumor".

Honey, during the past 18 months A lot of us gained weight, you should have just fired back at him
