I Am Afraid of Failure

Sad to say I’m afraid to even try for my DLs but i need to drive and i need to get a car .. can’t keep depending on family idk what It is but I’m so afraid to take It and get behind the wheel maybe i watch too much damn tv but i do want to drive and be able to get places on my own

just read an article of a 23 yr "kid" who has a company selling LIDAR sensors to Toyota and just signed a contract with Volvo for $43 million for self driving car applications ... his 55 yr partner (noted leading laser physicist) they " found 2000 ways not to build a working LIDAR" lol

In my opinion, it’s wise to be cautious behind the wheel, but it’s also necessary to be confident. Hesitation can cause as much trouble as carelessness.

Get as much practice time as you can, with an experienced driver you trust. Don’t be afraid to ask questions (What do you do if...?) Much of driving a car is proper reflex, which is automatically developed through practice.

Then go get your license and be independent.

I used to be afraid too. Eventually, necessity wins out. Then it becomes easier.
