I Want to Say Thank You

Thanks for a great conversation.

She was in the middle seat, I was at the window. Nicely dressed. Blonde. Had a face that was vaguely Reese Witherspoon, lovely and great blue eyes. A PhD candidate in chemistry.

I told her I liked her boots, and off we went. Two hours nonstop. Work, families, hockey, Star Wars, all over the place. I enjoyed hearing about her research, and while I'm no chemist, I didn't embarrass myself either.

It was nice to talk. I'm no extrovert and it amazes me when my attempts to talk with people in the real world actually work!

I hope it's the start of a good week on the road.
