I'm so sorry to hear. My father was an alcoholic and did stupid shit when drunk but I'm grateful that one of the things he DIDN'T do drunk was drive.

Part of it is just the nasty taste left in my mouth from having family members addicted to it.

Deepest sympathy to you , I have had the same the last 2 weeks a newphew killed by a drugged driver trying to evade police and my aunty last week hit and runover by a 80 y/o woman going through a red light I share your pain and can only say I hope you can consul yourself with the beautiful memories you have , be well and thoughts are with you.

I know how you must feel, its many years ago that she died in hospital but I still remember how dark those days were, it was touch and go for a while. If I can offer some advice, it does get better, it takes time but it does. Believe me I know
