I Am Asking You to Please Pray For Me

My heart is troubled, and I need prayers. The situation is completely beyond my control, so there really is nothing left to do but pray.

But I find it hard to pray. I always feel like I'm just talking to empty space and no one is listening. Is there anyone out there to hear me?

I'm so sorry you are hurting. I hear you right now and I will pray for you. I would encourage you to remember that our feelings are so often deceitful. It may seem as though your prayers go unheard, but it is during those times that we need to pray the most. He is ALWAYS listening and He is faithful..... nevertheless, these tests of faith are so difficult to walk through.

I’ll pray for you. Just remember everything is in His hands, and everything happens for a reason. He puts us through trials and tribulations to test us and our faith in Him. Everything will be better with time. I don’t know what you’re going through, but I can promise whatever it is shall pass.

The analogy I've been told in similar situation is looking at someone sewing and it looks to be a terrible jumbled mess, but turn it over and it is a beautiful tapestry.

Things don't always happen on our schedule or when we want. But for those who believe all things work to good.

@VeronicaJane Oh, I'm okay, thanks. I'm better than I was when I posted this, though the situation hasn't really gotten any better. Sometimes things don't get better, at least not for a while, but we get stronger and better able to handle them.

I will continue to pray for you... but.. one way to pray is read key parts of the Bible. The words are so powerful, that they will guide you and speak to you, as well as in prayer.
