They recorded it when they were transitioning from pop ballads to disco music. Although it probably can be classified as a dance song, it's not really disco, nor is it like the music they were doing previously.

@marsbar They sure did. And they were great songwriters as well. If I'm not mistaken, they wrote nearly all (if not all) of their songs.
