I Want To Talk About Parenting

My son: Mom, can we open the pool?"
Me: No.

My son: Mom, can we open the pool?"
Me: No.

My son: Mom, can we open the pool?"
Me: No.

My son: Mom, can we open the pool?"
Me: No and ask me one more time and you're grounded"

My son leaves the room, a second later I hear "Dad, can we open the pool?"
My husband: Sure buddy!"


Okay, my son is 13 I can excuse him half-way for not realizing you don't open a pool in the middle of May no matter how hot it is any particular day the weather can drastically change and plus it is way too tacky.........but I'm not sure what my husband's excuse is. 馃槀

馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槣 LOL!! Too funny. It remembers me of some conversations between my son and his mother and as he tried to get some support/allowness from me, after his mother said No all the time ;) I made once, only once the mistake to say yes to him. I sure never did it again after his mother told me off for that ;) Great story. It just made my day (Y) :)

@RobinMichael999: Kids love to play that game....I really didn't mind, I didn't have to do any of the work.....and the kids enjoyed themselves playing it in yesterday when it was officially ready. :)

@hami1091: Yes I rememeber how much I and my friends/cousins loved to play this game, even if we were not often as successfull as your son was ;) Great to hear, the Kids had lot of fun in the water (Y) :)
