I'll Never Give Up

February 27th 2018, that was my twentieth birthday and one of the worst days of my life, instead of being home with my family, friends and people who loved me, i’ve spent it in a cell.
Here’s a true story that taught me never to give up,
I was your normal college kid, I was social, had a good amount of friends, was doing good and I’ve fell in love with my major at that time! It was all about one mistake that I had the guts to take, it was more than just a decision, it was something I really wanted no matter what, I wanted to smoke for the first time!
What a great deal for someone my age you might ask, but back in my country it’s a horrible thing to do, completely illegal and very fraud upon.
There was my decision, I ordered 3 seeds online as a joke, but it all got real when they arrived at my door, I’ve opened the package with tons of ambiance and proudness, I’ve had my first plant, I loved her as she were my daughter and I called her Mary.
Mary was one of the best things in my life, now I have the chance to sit in my room and smoke with no problems, I started feeling better about life.
On my twentieth birthday, someone I knew reported me to the authorities! They raided my house and took my plant and all my dreams with it.
It wasn’t just a normal week in a cell to teach you not to do it again, it was humiliating, my university kicked me out because a professor heard about the incident, most of my so called friends stopped talking to me even finding a job was almost impossible in my whole country, I even volunteered to teach kids English and got kicked out because of my background!
I knew I had no choice, I had to move countries and now I’m happier than ever :)
Your life was ruined over one plant?

Are you an expat now?

This is a fascist country to treat youngsters this way in the face of all the liquor and hypocrisy and violence here. Makes me ashamed for my country.

Its legal in many states now including mine and there's room in our home.
