I Love the Ocean

Past where the bones
Hit the rocks
Out on the other side
Of the foam
A wave have been
Rolling.
Growing
Stampeding
I look around
At the crowd
Each man at his own pace.
Each carries a flag
The color of his face.
Everyone comes,
Before they are gone.
Everyone waits
for the wave
With his name.
A quilt of flags.
Covers the shore,
Fallen!
Colors of purple
and peach,
slowly bleeding.
Into the sea.
One day my wave
will find me
And crash in full force
Upon me
It will find me shirtless
In the blue
Stomach deep
