I also collect sand/shells/soil/whatever from the places I travel to. My friend from HS brought me back some sand from her trip to England and I've been collecting ever since. I have a few different countries and a lot of states. My favorite is the bottle of water/rocks I collected from niagra falls. I just think it's pretty. 馃挧My parents are planning a few family trips to California and the bahamas next, so I'll be able to add to my collection again soon:)
hi ShoeLace 22-25, F Great collection! I collect rocks too. Flying back from the US years ago I had so much rock in a sports bag it was unreal. The best was a flexible mirror looking rock you could bend! Is called Mica and is formed in thin sheets. best wishes :)
Ahh I wanted to go to the NJ shore so bad! I was in jersey but I just didn't have time to go to the beach lol. Maybe someday. Enjoy your time there! @uncalled4
