I Have Been ' Blocked '

Some one named americafirst blocked me after I tried to defend the healthcare system in the US. This person claimed things just not substantiated by any available data. Amazing that his only recourse to truth was blocking my response! It is truly sad when someone floats a false issue, refuses to defend it and than uses the only recourse to open discussion he can. This isnt the America I love and gave of my time to serve.

Yes, 😒he's done this to a few of us here! I'm hearing who ever he blocks is lucky! 🍀

Questionable information management practices seem to be de facto America now, in spite of lip service to the contrary.

He blocked me because I, an Atheist, commented on a christian's thread here https://similarworlds.com/19-Spirituality-Religion/2301034-How-do-you-explain-this-As-a-person-that-believes?rid=25951676. It wasn't even his thread and the question was actually directed to Atheists. He didn't appear to even object to the contents of my comment, just that I'd made it. He wrote -
Depends on what you call "evidence". But I did ask atheists to pass this thread and I have tolerated you more than enough. And I especially dislike people who write "WORLD" for their location
It's a lie too, he hadn't said anything on the thread about Atheists commenting on it.

Many Americans don't see a whole lot in the health care system to defend, it is imbued with class differences in levels of care and unfairness based on income and that corrodes morale here...among many other things.

@Platoscave in what way?
Platoscave · F
@samueltyler2 I am more than my private little life and private little...fate.

So if most people are losing out I GET WORRIED. I NEED A BETTER WAY AND NO B.S. OR "COMPROMISES". I love truth, struggle for truth, and consensus. We need to show our citizens that we are a compassionate country and a great way to start is single payer health.

And I would say that even if my private fate was usually luckier than other peoples'

RE: "... really is no acceptable "model" for the US to adopt without significant compromise and adaptation, something this country seems to have lost the ability to achieve!"

@samueltyler2 I haven't lost it.

@Platoscave consider yourself lucky. Many have already, and more may still.

@Platoscave I do have hope that somehow, truth and wisdom will prevail. That will lead to discussions that may be able to bridge tjebgaps needed to provide inivetsal coverage without destroying the lives of millions and without benefiting one group over another.
America is all about choosing to tune out those you wish to tune out

He blocked me too, just for daring to try and contribute an answer to one of his Q's. To be sort of fair, he did say he only wanted voices from the US. I overstepped his mark. But he seems to have a peculiar and blinkered fuse. Not one to worry about methinks 😉

Maybe he was not American?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Silverwings maybe was was a troll for #45?
Silverwings · 61-69, F
@samueltyler2 You are not a fan I take it?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Silverwings everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. But overall, we have never had such a corrupt administration, never had such an inept spokesman for the country. So, no, I guess I not even close to being a fan.
