Were you ever made to stand for the pledge?

I always stood but without my hand over my heart. (What some Jehovah's Witnesses do) Twice I tried not standing at all; in K or 1st and in 7th and I was made to both times. I remember the 7th grade because the teacher look at me like I was a monster or delinquent.
Yes, but not forced to put our hand over our heart, but I did.

[c=#4C0073]🎼Jimmy nothing never went to school. They made him pledge allegiance; he said it wasn't cool. Nothing made jimmy proud. Now jimmy lives on a mushroom cloud🎼[/c]

No we stood and sang O Canada in the morning and God Save the Queen at end of day but we never had to pledge. We did the same for movies.

Throughout all my school years we stood and said the pledge of allegiance every morning. And we placed our hands over our heart.

I never paid much attention to it. That "under God" crap was and is offensive.
