I agree with you. I worked for a university for 25 years and in the beginning it wasn't so bad for students. Yeah if they didn't have rich parents they could work a job and work their way through one way or another. Sad thing the university started taking a percentage of their financial aid and scholarships for handing it out to them after they applied. They started landscaping every square foot of the place and making everything to show off for recruiting etc. A lot of things they could have done to make it cheaper for students to go to school but I doubt if the administration truly cares if the students can afford it.

I ended up not owing a single dime after I graduated because I had a scholarship. The deal was to get all A grades and so I did. Smart fella I am!
