Should teaching illegals or the children of illegals English come at the cost of decent education for kids who are in the us legally

@ForNever: and theres ways to teach other subjects using art and music. i learned my states with a song. we did an art project to learn the regions of ga.

@Mountainlady16: (With schools acting like a large business) -They don't look at every individual student's needs. Yes- it is not fair for the children to lose out on curriculum because it does not bring incentive to the school's yearly earnings and funds. Within each state many schools close because their testing scores fall below par. That is why teachers -then don't focus on teaching children broader things (instead they focus on teaching children on how to pass these state test). Those test in turn evaluate the teacher's capabilities to jam what the state deems necessary kids know. Art and Music are on the bottom of the list of requirements usually states aspire the children to excel in. The entire educational system is not at it's best.

@ForNever: teaching to the test which is pathetc this is why my kids will never ever go to public schools. and do you realize the reason why some kids stay in school is for things like art and music
