Do you enjoy the study of language? (linguistics)
I think it's interesting how expressive speech speaks volumes about a persons character/personality. For instance;
1."We are going to build a very, very tremendous massive wall"
2. "We are going to build a massive wall"
The first being redundant (repetitive) and pretentious or what linguist call, A "magniloquent" (pompous style) The speaker tends to overcompensate for a lack of proper language skills by using pretentious speaking.
Just remember the "KISS" rule, "Keep it simple stupid"😜
