This just in: approximately half of America's students scored below the national average on standardized tests in 2016.

This generation of millenials are pretty stupid, cant argue with that.

I miss the previous generations of millenials.

Not every millenial is stupid
Abbyrose · 22-25, F
Well that is what makes it an average

Thank you!

that's only true for a symmetric distribution

I know

Keep Americans stupid, it makes them easier to believe in bullshit.

Not surprising, considering they teach to the lowest common denominator and don't bother giving most kids the extra help they need. I hardly bothered paying attention in school and still aced pretty much every test I took.

Except spelling tests, I always sucked at those.

Also since in any situation with that large of a population, you expect half of the data to fall below the mean.
Bout time teachers were held to a performance standard.. Dumbing down future democrat voters is not going to work 😃👍

Lol
iamnikki · 31-35, F
Probably because teachers teach for that test. They don't teach how to understand concepts.
33person · 26-30, M
True, but given a large set of data, it is not unusual at all for half the data to fall below the mean.

Those poor dumb fucks.

I got an 836 or something without studying for it. Was that a decent score?
