History: Here are some things I learned last night about the assassination of JFK:

1.Kennedy was VERY vocal against a VERY corrupt CIA.
2.Herbert Hoover of the FBI hated JFK passionately.
3.Kennedy refused to support the military in Cuba, where they were fighting in the Bay of Pigs. The military wanted the Cubans destroyed, and Kennedy refused. His generals were furious.
4. Kennedy was having an affair with the girlfriend of mafia mob bosses Sam Giancana and John Roselli. Her name was Judith Campbell Exner.
5. Lee Harvey Oswald was shot during a completely unnecessary jail transfer, in the company of about 20 FBI officers, by Jack Ruby, a mafia affiliated nightclub owner. It is thought that Oswald had to be killed before his innocence was revealed.
6. ALL the reporters and people who tried to report the assassination or the already known involvement of Jack Ruby were killed in a wide variety of ways within days of the assassination.

My take? History repeats itself in a wide variety of ways, and not too much has changed.

Another interesting tid bit. Sir Han Sir Han remembers NOTHING of the day Robert Kennedy was killed. People better wake up the government is pure evil!

I remember watching Ruby shoot Oswald on live TV.

@eli1601 They played the old clip of that last night. So I got to see it, too, for the first time. My parents were huge fans of JFK.

It seemed to me that the FBI guys just stood there, and didn't react as though they were too surprised.
So much for fucking Camelot!
