Accidental inhalation can be fatal. And the glaciers which are melting because of global warming all have a large amount of it which will soon be mixing with seawater.

It's used a lot in all sorts of dangerous industrial chemicals and processes, and yet they expect us to have it in our food and drink!

Accidental inhalation of even small quantities of dihydrogen monoxide can [i]kill[/i] you!

Penn & Teller got tons of people to sign a petition banning it a few years back.

Submersing yourself in large quantities of it can result in asphyxiation, or worse, pruney hands and feet!

And yet I find it oddly soothing if heated properly and applied in a fine spray.
