How much reading, per week, do you think high school English classes should assign?

I got way too much reading in my classes, and it made me miserable. 20 max a night is reasonable without crossing a line.
I still get too much reading in college 😭

Depends on the high school and other courses, but a minimum 40-50 pages of a book a week should be enough.
