Does Spanish seem like an easy language to learn?

Probably the easiest as a lot of Spanish words are very close to English.

Its rules are pretty consistent, much more so than English, certainly. My sister became fluent over a summer and with continued use (because there are plenty of Spanish speakers around here) she speaks it like a native now.
