Have you managed to put to good use all that Algebra you learned in school?

Not exactly.

Something I wish was emphasized more in math classes is that math isn't just a bunch of formulas, it's a method of problem solving.

I'm able to measure a flagpole by the shadow it casts...this might come useful later when I join the "flagpole shadow championships"

I've used it mainly to calculate my purchase, like we have 6% tax, or if I'm saving with 30% discount.

For example if I have 24.99 purchase
I just translate the phrase: what is 6% of 24.99 to
X = (.06)24.99
X = 1.50
Therefore
24.99 + 1.50 = 26.49

There has been an increased in electronics enthusiast lately, or so I think? They're gonna be using it.

The equation with which I struggled most is actually the one I use most often.

80/75= 100/x The solve for all of this "is to/as" equations was something I had to stay after class and get extra help in 5th grade.

Sure, not infrequently

It's only useful for engineers, I'm not quite there yet.
