How educated are you?

Has having a formal education benefited you in life career wise or otherwise?
SW-User
I have a bachelor’s and an MBA.

I believe I wouldn’t have my career without this education. And practicality aside, my intellectual interests have been abetted by it. Some things are natural, but my education has accentuated my natural curiosity and abilities :)

I couldn't have done my job without it, and it's helped me in innumerable ways in my life as well.

I am an engineer, but my real education came from the school of hard knocks.

The only thing that the sheepskin does is open the door. After that it chafes when you wipe you hinder with it.

The fact I mentioned I'm studying business and majoring in management got me a job. I was told that's what impressed them. I am thinking of dropping out of Uni to go full time though hahah. There's no point in getting into even more school debt, when I'll have a managing job by the end of the year, the current one is retiring hahaha. I basically know all the important stuff.

A college degree, preferably a graduate degree, was required in my field of engineering, so I benefited greatly from formal education.

It got me a job in programming and is pretty much the only thing that keeps that door open for me.
Really the degree itself was not super useful, but it has opened up job opportunities.
