When at school did you do inside PE barefoot

All the time, UK.

If you forgot your gym shoes at home, you had to go in bare feet.
They did not want the floors marked by hard soles, and heels.

Always bare feet in Surrey!

Always in bare feet for PE throughout school. Seems to be a UK / European thing.

All the time, as far as I remember.

No shoes and socks were mandatory at all times.

We always had to have shoes and socks. If you showed up without any you got a detention.

We barely ever did PE and no one would bother enough to take their shoes off anyway 😄
