I'm so excited for my first day of work

@CountScrofula YUP! I'm so happy about that. At my previous work, they NEVER give out full time. In fact, they treated it like a promotion. To rub more salt in the wound, all the part timers would get their hours cut significantly when they hired more seasonal employees (they are guaranteed 32 hours or something like that). I was able to pull through during the winter when profit was low, and I thought when spring and summer kicks in that I'd be making a nice paycheck but that's when they decided to make us sign a contract stating all part timers are allowed a maximum of 25 hours a week. They made me $200 poorer yet demanded me to work harder by the way the scheduling was set up. They had me there every day working only four hours either early in the morning or late evening.

With this new employer, I'll have a [b]fixed[/b] schedule, full time, and enjoy my work.

@XReaganX Haha. I'm the vice president of a union. I have VERY strong opinions on cheating people out of full time work to deny them benefits. That kind of exploitation is ruining the economy and so many lives. Fuck that shitty hardware store and I'm glad you've got something better. No job is perfect and it may have problems but whatever, it pays more and gives you hours. Major upgrade.
