It's a Spanish and Portugues surname, so Hispanic.
But I do not think being Hispanic and being white is mutually exclusive. After all, 'Hispanic' just means Spanish-speaking countries, and people in Spain are white/caucasian.

@deadgerbil well in Mexico in all over Latin America spanish last names are common. I probably ancestors from Europe before my time

@Mariocrespo8546 Yes, your average Mexican can trace a good portion of their ancestry to Europe, as that's where Spanish colonists came from. Same with other Central and South Americans. Although Brazil is an oddity in that it was like the only non-Spanish colony in South America, it's colonists came from Portugal.
