Opinions for a college drop out

Hi I’ve been forced to drop out of college as the head of art wouldn’t let me stay on to do level 2 art this year as I had to many personal issues some physically and some mentally. And I’ve been turned down from 5 college courses and I have nothing in place for September. What are my opinions? I got a over all grade of a double merit in art and I’m looking for a fashion apprenticeship but they are so hard to find in my area. I can’t even find an art one. I’m interested in fashion and dress making. I love photography too as I take photos on my iPhone 7 and hope to try and buy a proper photography camera in the future. Any advice would be appreciated. Also I’m interested in alternative modelling as I need the money as I’m not working and I’m also trying to sell my art so some advice on modelling and how to successfully sell my art would be appreciated too.

I agree with the dude with the sunglasses lol my ma took art at Colombia college in Chicago now shes a cosmetologist and a damn well paid and good one. Study something if you WANT. You dont have to. I believe college is good if you wanna learn something for yourself but you gotta love what you study and maybe make a career out of it but dont piss money away and years for a slip of paper the world is seeing all kinds of college university and trade schools as degree printing companies for attendance and money and people are viewed more like they used to...on what you know and can actually do. Find a career you love and study what it takes to do it...schooling or not it doesn't take a classroom to become an expert at something and it doesnt cost much to teach yourself! Art is a hobby If you were really good and learned while you were there youd be an artist making big money or maybe down the line but for a career...you must do what you love that's a must!

I'm so glad I went to school and a semester short of AAS in automotive technology...but the stuff I learned and the teacher was a ford master tech working in a dealership! I learned so much and can operate and diagnose all types of cars I'm a certified expert small engine tech for Kohler and own my own business I didnt need paper and i build circuit boards...didnt go to school for that! I can program automated machines lol with A GED! Over 55k a year on a GED what's that paper cost ya lol it never pays for itself! We should PM you sound very kind!

Many Artists succeeded without a degree.
Do not panic.
It took me 10 years to complete an Undergraduate degree. It took 5 more to complete a graduate degree.
Your career doesn’t have to follow a conventional path for success.

If it is hard in your area. Get a job and start saving up. Then move to a bigger city.

@unknownpoetx you can’t say just by reading this post. Was you there when I was at college ? NO do you know anything that went off when I was at college? NO so take your judgment and shove it up ass. To be honest you have no rights to even comment as you have no idea what it took me to actually get into college in the first place. Also , there’s no need to call me ugly as that doesn’t even relate to the post. So it just proves that you’re just childish and need to mentally grow up.

@SW-User it's "were you there". not was.

No offense but dropping out of Art in college is dodging a pretty large bullet.
SW-User
@ValhallaAwaitsUs I had no choice as I wasn’t aloud to stop on
