Will school shootings in USA be like cancer and terrorists, common and unstoppable?

Is it the dog wagging the tail or the tail wagging the dog?

We know that terrorist attacks and demonstrations are designed to play to the news cameras.

Do school shootings also happen because the shooters know that CNN, Fox, ABC, etc will be there 24/7 to make the shooter infamous from coast to coast and show off the shooter's achievements?

Terrorist attacks in the US are rare. School shootings are common unfortunately and that’s not going to change anytime soon with the NRA loons making so much money that they pump millions each year to the politicians in their pocket.

US school shootings appear to be similar to terrorist attacks in many Muslim countries. The Mid East and the US are not so different.

If we fixate on the shooting only, yes. If we look for the causes then maybe not.
