What sort of schools don't have headmistresses?

Apparently one member of SW went to a school that didn't have one. I asked her if she was as rude to the headmistress in school as she was to me on here, and all she said was that they didn't have headmistresses and then she blocked me, so I never found out any more. Can anybody else here explain that?
