Asking college prof to attend University grad

I was wondering if it would be weird or not to ask my old college prof to attend my university graduation. She is the reason I have taken the program at university and has inspired me. She's my role model. I'd love for her to attend but is that weird?

My wife invited her old college professor to our wedding, and she came too. I think that's a good idea. Teachers and professors sometimes need to know how much of a difference they truly make in their student's lives.

@foxyk99 Not at all. I have a professor or two of mine on my friend's list as well. I also have an old teacher from before college as well.
