When you make excuses for not taking their advice it means you aren't attempting to help yourself, which is an indication that you are playing the system to keep getting rewarded with free money.

the free money is a good bonus for being ill yes but i do actually attempt to help myself, im a lot more independent than i used to be, i go out and do things for myself now and have attempted to socialise with other people although rather unsuccessfully, i just dont particularly want to join one of their clubs for various reasons

@TheCoolestCat Might make you uncomfortable to talk about your problems in a group scenario. You said yourself you exaggerated your symptoms to keep getting money. When you are getting paid for being sick there is little motivation to get better enough to work to support yourself. I've known others like this who were capable of working yet it was easier to get the money and not support themselves.

Your Psych is not your enemy.
Stop treating them like one and see what happens.

@Picklebobble2 Too easily worded without knowing what a person is going through even though I anticipate you mean well.

@SW-User If you go into any situation persistently in combative mood, nothing will ever change.

@Picklebobble2 obvious, but you certainly aren't his psych and I might trust he talks more to his doctor than he does to SW.

Then you need to talk to your doctor about getting off the medications, managed.

Maybe you'll meet and hot mental blonde over there.

Consider seeing a new doc. perhaps.
