What would cause a tree to do this?

@SW-User Humidity probably played a lot with that. Lived for a little bit in Newport News Virginia. It got a bit humid there for a bit. Here it is a dry heat. Even here in the mountains. Very little humidity.

@DeWayfarer Humidity was bad there and it was suffocating to me.

@Loretta78 That brought tears to my eyes. It could be feeling my sadness of thinking that same thing.

@sciguy18 It was straight on Wednesday. On Thursday morning I found it like this. It spit way up high and fell into another tree.

@RodneyTrotter I just split at the middle and bent over. There was not tornado that I know of. Other trees are not harmed and I have lot of trees on my land.

@RodneyTrotter It is the oddest thing I ever seen in trees.
