So the education system is severely flawed because they don't want ppl to get smarter

They want you right where you are, so they only have to pay you enough not to ask questions :(

Everyone must become autodidacts. The education machine feeds the industrial machine. People must all control the machine not be cogs in it.
Best wishes

Autodidacticism (also autodidactism) or self-education (also self-learning and self-teaching) is education without the guidance of masters (such as teachers and professors) or institutions (such as schools). Generally, an autodidact is an individual who chooses the subject he or she will study, his or her studying material, and the studying rhythm and time. An autodidact may or may not have formal education, and his or her study may be either a complement or an alternative to it. Many notable contributions have been made by autodidacts. Influential autodidacts include Leonardo da Vinci, Goethe, Charles Darwin, Thomas Edison, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Steven Spielberg, Alexander Hamilton and Srinivasa Ramanujan (List of autodidacts).

@sogdianrock yes I believe we would benefit from being self taught but we must give our support to each other in doing so. Ppl don't want to change because it seems as too much effort but life as it is, is more effort than it would be. It is a self fulfilling prophecy and we have nought to blame but ourselves. We only have to take responsibility for what is as a collective if we are to change it

hi JovialPlutonian
we are not either individuals or collective - we are individuals who together forma collective of individuals. Auto-didacticism and personal responsibility are the only way to be individual. Although plainly you can learn a lot in collective settings also and through discussion.

I couldn't agree more, but it;s more than just the education system. It si society in general. we are all owned by someone or something and they don't want us to be strong enough or smart enough to take bake what should be ours
