I Love to Play Music

My band successfully played our first show tonight. Being a weird combination of guitar, banjo, ukulele, three singers, trombone, and tuba (at various times) we were hell on earth to mic and so struggled with predictable sound issues. But we got through it, the crowd liked us, and made some friends and promises of future gigs. It was a pseudo-battle of the bands, which we didn't place in (first gig and many veteran bands) but a supremely talented young pop singer won and I'm super stoked for her and her future. We're hobbyists - she's gonna be someone.
