I Have a Weird Sense of Humor
So my granddad told me this joke once after I had been talking to a group of children my age (mainly girls and I was about 4 or 5 at the time if I remember correctly)..
I came up to him and told him that one of the girls rolled her eyes at me because I was trying to be funny (I have a weird and sometimes dumb sense of humor.. 🤣) and this is what he said.. He stopped reading the Sunday paper and took is glasses off to set them on the table. He looked me dead in the eye and spoke. "Ok son, this is what you do. The young lassie rolled her eyes at you, so be a gentleman and roll them back to her. It's only polite after all, otherwise she might lose her sight.." He chuckled that warm, hearty laugh and I did what he told me. She and I actually became friends up to high school. Turns out the old man has a unique charm. 🤔
I know it's a really dumb joke, but still it cracks me up every time. My granddad was quite the character. 😂
