I Have a Weird Sense of Humor
Actually , my mom has a weird sense of humor .
This is one example ;
When I was pregnant with my first , we were far away from friends and family and my husband was never home .
As it got close to the due date I started to worry about complications and how I would cope if anything goes wrong with the baby or delivery.
So, when my mom called a few weeks before the due date and said she had something very important to tell me , I was hoping a comforting , fuzzy talk.
Imagine my surprise when she said "
Don't panic if the baby is extremely UGLY !!!
Give it 2 years.
She would turn out ok dear!!
You sure did !!!)
Then she proceeded to tell me in her hysterical way of why I don't have too many pictures of my first year of life ( no close ups 😅) and how she tried and tried but couldn't make me look Normal!! 🐒
Specially after I became mobile and kept falling and had bumps on my head all the time !!
I remembered I laughed so hard my face was hurting.
Since that day my negative thoughts got over shadowed by her funny story .
She defdinitely helped ease my mind .😏
