I Would Like to See Religion Wiped Off the Face of the Earth

Even this heading is a challenge to some, why? I would like to see an end to religious clashes and suffering in its name, but to put it as the heading suggests, is in itself warlike.

To clarify my comment, I just find the heading challenging to human nature, I am not in any way inflicting my views.

...and for those of us who are religious and better people for it? What happens to us in your "prefect world"? Are we "wiped out" if we don't bow down and agree with you?Do you send us to Concentration camps? DEATH camps?

So YOUR intolerance is good and other people's bad, yes? Funny how you won't find a religious person here ever saying they want atheists "wiped off" the face of the earth. But then you are of a superior moral caliber, right,which makes it okay for you to say something Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and of course Hitler would have agreed. Enjoy the good company.

Really you are OLD enough to have a more mature world view and to see what an ass you just made of yourself. Take don't this post and save looking even more stupid than you already do.

I don't mind religion as long as they don't adopt extremists views, don't force their beliefs on people and religious people don't act all self righteous and hypothetically

We'd live in a probably vastly more advanced society if that were to happen as there would be far less diversity between nations and more cooperation and understanding if there was no religion to begin with.

I understand your feeling, but it's not the religions that are bad it's what people end up doing with them. Like fire is very useful for many things but if you choose to burn your house down with it....
