I Write

O my Beloved,
O my Bride,
Would that you express your desire for me like when we were betrothed,
for though I have caught, I still must hunt.

I ran and searched for my beloved among the beautiful meadows of the Alps.
My hunt is like that of a puma dwelling in the mountains.

My eye inclines toward the bristling reeds and the turning leaves.
My attention is drawn to movement in the tall grass.

Among the old oaks a deer leaps about.
Behind the rock a doe prances out of view.

O that you would dance for me,
My Beloved, my wife.

Choose the song of your liking,
Pick the tune that helps you move.

You are so pleasing to the eyes, more attractive than I remember.
Your hard work has accomplished more than you intended.
Your later glory is better than the former.
You are vibrant.
Your radiance is the glow of the home.

I have sought you through all of life.
I have tracked your fragrance upon the wind.
My ears perked when your feet shuffled the pine needles.

Move, my love, so that I may find you.
Dance in secret so that I may catch you.
Entice me with the sway of your hips and the seduction of your eyes.

We are young enough that marriage is still fresh.
Our love has grown beyond fleeting fancies,
Yet your beauty intoxicates me like wine.

Turn and move for me in a hidden place.
Move with rhythm before my hunter’s gaze.
I will find and catch you in my embrace.

Let love be stoked and rekindled,
and let passion mature with time;
but lovemaking is always a little touch of youth in life.

This is utterly beautiful while filled to the brim in heartache. I'm not sure which stanza is the best. The most striking-

Move, my love, so that I may find you.
Dance in secret so that I may catch you.
Entice me with the sway of your hips and the seduction of your eyes.

as well as

Turn and move for me in a hidden place.
Move with rhythm before my hunter’s gaze.
I will find and catch you in my embrace.

Although this is old, please keep aspiring to write. Forgive me for my late reply. [image deleted]

This is so heartfelt and beautiful. It reminds me of Song of Solomon.

@Fungirlmmm I still remember writing these things as form of "begging" my ex to seduce me, or seem like she wanted me.
