If you stop an addiction abruptly does it make you do stupid things? [I Addiction]

Case in point, I just randomly decided to shave ALL of my hair off.... Idk... Just felt right to do.. Like there was a pulling or something making me think of nothing but that until I did it.. Life changes often cause us to choose a different hairstyle. Hair seems to be a part of how we identify ourselves. It may be symbolic of starting a new life. And you can always grow it back out if you want it longer.
