I Am Different [Being Different]

When I think back to my childhood it seems very ordinary. But then, I remember all the adventures I have imagined and lived. Being different to me always meant exploring, which got tied to questioning, which led to many experiences and meeting all sorts of people. I am grateful for that sense of wonder. It has helped me develop an open mind that has allowed me to connect to a whole array of people. If you look at my life now, it very much integrated into the norm so it is hard to believe I am different sometimes. I've been called many types of different by people. Relative to what? Is the question that always come to mind. But, in the end it doesn't even matter... I am who I am and that is enough.
