I didn't know women couldn't dance in public there. I understand if they were only arrested for sexual dances, though I don't support that, but not even regular dancing is allowed?? Then what do the do for fun when they hear music they like? Just sit around? That sounds pretty boring.

@goagainsttheflow I am sure that the real "offence" is disobedience and not following rules made by men for the benefit of a patriarchal society. Most dance hints at the erotic, but it is an artistic representation, not the same thing as actually having sex 😟
