I Ugh

iv'e quit smoking pot for two months . i'm having a lot of trouble sleeping at night since it's what would use it for . my bed time would be at 9 pm the latest i'd be in bed was at 11 pm . now i struggle with being able to go to bed . it really sucks not being able to go to sleep . not being able to fall asleep right away . i'm trying to get used to this i really hate going to bed late i find it pointless to stay up for very long . the latest i am now going to bed is at 12 or 1 this really sucks . i am trying to relax .

1. No electronics for at least a half hour before "bedtime". Electronics tend to stimulate the brain and keep it awake.

2. No caffeine after dinner (after 5pm).

What time do you awaken in the morning...? Are you physically active during the day...?

@Smalltownwitch Agree. Especially if it is something new. In my own case, I discovered that, having been born at night, being a night owl was actually my natural state-- so rather than force my body to conform to daywalking, I have worked 3rd shift my entire adult life.

Did I mention I'm healthier than most everyone I know that works days...? ;)

Suggest a visit to your docs if you can, explain, maybe try sleeping pills, but you need to find out what's so worrying in your life that's stopping you relax naturally.
