I Still Remember September 11

I can vividly remember the assassination of President Kennedy. I first heard the news of the shooting over a country music radio station while I was studying for a midterm exam in college. Then, went to the only TV on campus to hear his death announced, Walter Cronkite crying. Then wandering away for a while in shock, coming back to the TV sometime later to watch Oswald shot and killed on the same black and white live TV.

I do. I remember,despite living in Texas, being able to get out of school early. My mom didn't come pick me up . lol
