I Still Remember September 11

Let's all take a moment to remember what hate and intolerance can do. On this day 15 years ago, in just a few short hours, I heard that a plane hit WTC 1. That was just the beginning of the most horrible day in American history since Pearl Harbor. Anyone over 25 knows where they were when they heard it. It's easy to remember the feelings of hate and fear. But let us also remember the heroes - the men and women who risked and gave their lives for others. I know some of these people personally. Some are currently dying of the lung disease they contracted by inhaling death for days.

The fuel for the September 11th attacks was a blend of fear, hate and intolerance. On this day, we must all commit to the opposite - courage, love and tolerance.
