I Am a Daddy's Girl

I called my mother to say hello then she informed me that my father is sick. After hearing that, I overreacted and got mad at my father for not telling me. I called him but he is not picking up and it made me angrier. Angrier at myself for not knowing that my father is sick. Now, my father is going home to go the hospital and here I am crying from thinking all of the possibilities of his check up. I really hate it when something happened to my father and I can't even do anything.

Keeping in touch more often could help ? Sorry if i come across as unfeeling but more young people need to understand that the very people who brought you into the world need a certain respect and duty if care , just as you do.

@Leafkiss he is probably not wanting to worry you. My dad does the same and doesn't understand the worry he causes. However, it is just part of him!

@Zeusdelight I guess so. It's just that it makes me worry more because he keeps it from me.

@Leafkiss I understand that. But, for example, my father is a very private man too. It's hard, but it is his business until he decides to tell people. He understands that you love him!

I hope your father feels better soon and that you do, too.

Well how were you suppose to know he was sick? If anything why did you mom not call you telling you your dad was sick and in hospital.
Leafkiss · 26-30, F
@updown2020 My mom rarely calls me. I call her.

@Leafkiss Yea but your dad being sick is not a everyday thing she should've called you.
