I Enjoy Meaningful Conversations

Though it's not often that I have them. I dont understand how people say they want to get to know you but barely can carry a conversation. In the past it didn't seem so hard to come across someone who knew how to express themselves in words.

Can we have a moment of silence for good conversations...

I know. I hate that you cant talk to the person next to you because they're too busy looking at their phone. When you do try and talk to them anyway, in my experience, they wont even look up.

@iamnikki: It has indeed killed the moments when talking SHOULD happen - On the Tube, sat in a pub or waiting in a queue for anything - everyones faces are getting slowly radiated by their Smart (Duh) phones :/

RIP the art of conversation? Certainly the case for some people but I personally pride myself on being able to hold my own on most topics you'd care to pick :) In fact that almost sounds like I'm challenging you - in which case I probably am ;) my problem these days is busy-ness I find myself in at work and having the time to actually engage in life enriching conversation.

I have found the struggle to be finding someone who is just as willing to ask questions as answer them. Most of my conversation with people seem to turn into an interrogations. If I don't ask a question they don't say anything.
