I Like Learning New Things

369 steps going up on a spiral staircase. I didn't mind shortness of breath, after all I got to see King Ludwig of Bavaria's personal belongings. Although his designs/planning of his bathroom and kitchen were impressively before his time, I wondered if he ever thought of the elevator.馃

Accdg. to the castle guide, he was a misunderstood figure who lived a lonely life, alone in the castle, shunned the public life. A big irony, and a tragedy as well. Suddenly I became interested in his biography which I intend to read when I get back.

Neustadt, Germany.

Down the Rhine river there were so many castles that we saw on the boat.

i've always wanted to see and go inside a castle. are you on vacation?
SW-User
@iamnikki Aww, it's a different kind of high. It should be in your bucket list. 馃檪 Yip, on vacay.
His elevator would not have reached the top floor.. 馃

@KingLionHeart Who knows....? His kitchen is impressive! It is in its original form, and yet it looks like our contemporary kitchens. All his utensils are made of copper, in six different sizes; from baking pans to pressure cooker and many more...馃檪
@SW-User a man with vision..

The only Castle I've ever been to is the Gillette Castle I believe it's in Connecticut

I loved it
